Thumb Bolt-on 'Flamin' Blonde' LTD 2007

In 2007 the annually Limited-Series is being continued with the Thumb Bolt-on LTD 2007. Among others made of the rare precious woods Lacewood and Yellow Heart, this bass entirely redefines the Warwick slogan "The Sound of Wood" for one more time.

The body consists of three layers, whereas top and back are made of the characteristically grained Lacewood. The reddish-orange-brown heartwood, darkening over time, shows a variety of densely lined-up "eyes", which reminds one of lined-up pearls on a string. The middle layer is made of the inherently yellow coloured Yellow Heart and is in contrast to the body, which is covered by a Natural Oil finish. The multiple layers of the Wenge neck are also blocked by this wood, coming from South America.

Its name "Flamin" Blonde", however, primarily comes from the use of flame-inlays, which are marking not only the different areas of the Tigerstripe Ebony fingerboard, but also adorning the headstock and the controls knobs. They are made of different red corals, and of mother-of-pearl at the controls.
For the electronics, our developers selected the Jazzman-layout with passive J/MM-style pickups by MEC, which, in combination with the active 3-band electronics, offer a versatile sound palette and authentically pick up the natural sound of the chosen tone woods.

This bass is limited to only 250 units worldwide and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Hans-Peter Wilfer personally put his signature to the backside of the headstock.
