I Am The Deceiver

I Am The Deceiver - who are Jan-Niklas Schwoch (Vocals), Jonas von der Weppen (Base & Vocals), Marvin Struck (Guitar), Timo Zimmat (Guitar) & Maik Rolfs (Drums) - started beging a Christian Metalcore band in 2011. We came together participating a cover band project at school, which we carried forward in our free time. The bands name is based on the biblical „judas“ and is supposed to make people and society reflecting on their own acting. We always try to communicate basic principles of being and acting human. Our lyrics are inspired by ethical and moral conflicts everyone is forced to handle with. We as a band do not do missionary work - we’re rather trying to bring our optimism and love of life to the people listening to our music.
