The Vigil

The Vigil is an Alt Rock band from the UK now based in Hamburg. The current line up is Olly Smith on lead vocals and guitar, Jake Kitchener on guitar and backing vocals, Felipe Bravo on Bass and Stefano Colomo on Drums.
Our influences include Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Queens of the Stone Age, Rammstein and HIM. The Vigil has supported and toured with many great bands such as Puddle of Mudd, Everclear, Therapy?, Anvil, The Datsuns, Lonely the Brave, Unzucht and many more. I have also worked with great producers such as Nigel Pulsford from the band Bush, Dave Draper (The Wildhearts) and recorded at Rockfield Studios where Queen recorded Bohemian Rhapsody. Our last album "Hypervigilance" got 7 out of 10 in the German Classic Rock Magazine and appeared in the German Metal Hammer Magazine. We also (...) We've played major festivals in the UK and played to large audiences when supporting bigger acts and have been comfortable on both the bigger and smaller stages.

The Vigil ist eine Alt-Rock-Band aus Großbritannien, die jetzt in Hamburg ansässig ist. Die aktuelle Besetzung besteht aus Olly Smith (Leadgesang und Gitarre), Jake Kitchener (Gitarre und Hintergrundgesang), Felipe Bravo (Bass) und Stefano Colomo (Schlagzeug).
Zu unseren Einflüssen zählen Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Queens of the Stone Age, Rammstein und HIM. The Vigil hat viele großartige Bands wie Puddle of Mudd, Everclear, Therapy?, Anvil, The Datsuns, Lonely the Brave, Unzucht und viele mehr unterstützt und getourt. Ich habe auch mit großartigen Produzenten wie Nigel Pulsford von der Band Bush und Dave Draper (The Wildhearts) zusammengearbeitet und in den Rockfield Studios aufgenommen, wo Queen Bohemian Rhapsody aufgenommen hat. Unser letztes Album „Hypervigilance“ hat 7 von 10 Punkten im deutschen Classic Rock Magazin bekommen und ist im deutschen Metal Hammer Magazin erschienen. Wir hatten auch Hörspiele in ganz Europa und wurden im britischen Rock-Radiosender Planet Rock vorgestellt. Wir haben auf großen Festivals in Großbritannien gespielt und vor großem Publikum gespielt, als wir größere Acts unterstützten, und haben uns sowohl auf den größeren als auch auf den kleineren Bühnen wohlgefühlt.
