Threads

The band began as the project of guitarist Aggelos Tzamtzis, who moved to Berlin to realize his dream. He soon brought in Tim Crawford (guitar and backing vocals) and Felipe Melo Villarroel (drums). But almost immediately, Covid-19 hit and they found themselves in lockdown and unable to jam again until restrictions lifted. However, they wasted no time in finding a home studio in a “crazy historic building in Berlin” and brought in Tallon Smith (vocals) and Vangelis Sazanides (bass) to complete the lineup.
The result was Threads’ debut EP “Akasha”, which was recorded in KAOS Studios, Berlin. Mixed and mastered by Aggelos Tzamtzis and Frankie Insulina.
